Responsibilities

As a Senior Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization to deployment. The Senior Software Engineer will collaborate closely with our team of developers, designers, and product managers to create robust and user-friendly web applications.

 

This is a fully remote role with working hours being 8-5pm CST. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and architecting web applications using .NET Core for the backend and Angular for the frontend.
  • Developing scalable and maintainable code that meets high standards of quality and performance.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring best practices are followed.
  • Taking ownership of the deployment process and ensuring smooth releases of new features and enhancements.
  • Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks, security vulnerabilities, and other technical challenges.
  • Mentoring and guiding junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Experience Requirements and Preferences:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; in lieu of degree, 3+ additional years of work experience in software engineering. 
  • 5+ years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying web applications using .NET Core and Angular.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Experience working in an Agile development environment, delivering results iteratively.
  • Solid knowledge of database systems, RESTful APIs, and version control tools (Git).
  • Previous experience in healthcare is a plus.
