Responsibilities

  • Answer and coordinate phone calls received in the Call Center.
  • Ability to use interpretation services, via phone, when needed.
  • Transfer calls to clinic or relevant support personnel.
  • Appropriately record telephone encounters via VelociDoc system.
  • Obtain medical release as needed for patient requested forms.
  • Confirm appointments with patients.
  • Verify insurances via RTE or other.
  • Complete knowledge of VelociDoc and PVM, including updating pharmacy information for patients.
  • Fax patient documents and other info from VelociDoc.
  • Obtain and scan required documents into VelociDoc.
  • Update patient information (Telephone, Address, etc.) in VelociDoc.
  • Schedule appointments for patients in Velocidoc following clinic guidelines.
  • Respond appropriately and forward unsatisfied customers to the appropriate destination.
  • Actively engages in conflict management to ensure strong customer service as needed with external customers, elevating to management where appropriate.
  • Ability to adhere to the Core Values of the Company, of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness.

Experience Requirements and Preferences:

  • At least two years of Administrative Support or Front Office experience in a health care system.

Education Requirements:

High School Diploma or Its Equivalent
