Responsibilities

Essential Functions: 

  1. Assist in the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
  2. Support the enrollment process for new hires and during annual open enrollment.
  3. Assist in data entry of HSA and 401(k) elections.
  4. Ensure required documentation for benefits enrollments is collected and stored appropriately (e.g., tobacco affidavits, spousal affidavits).
  5. Assist with COBRA processing.
  6. Create and Process all Benefit Billing
  7. Ensure audits are completed frequently for all plans.
  8. Process Qualifying Life Events
  9. Respond to employee inquiries regarding benefits, eligibility, and coverage.
  10. Maintain a high level of professionalism and customer service when assisting employees.
  11. Participate in audits related to benefits programs.
  12. Demonstrate the ability to maintain friendly, cordial relations with all employees and a positive work atmosphere.
  13. Adhere to the company’s standards of operations and core values of teamwork, communication, empowerment, quality of care, and friendliness. 

Non-Essential Functions:

  1. Perform other duties as assigned by management. 

Experience Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Requirements:   

 

Education:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. 

OR

  • 2–3 years of experience in benefits administration, human resources, or a related field 

Education Requirements:

Bachelors Degree (Preferred)

License Requirements:

No License Required
